Past Junior Fellows:

"IWF was a great place to spend the summer. I was able to create my own projects while personally impacting IWF's larger-scale international projects. I attending great conferences throughout D.C. on behalf of IWF. I was really able to pursue my interest in international women's rights but also through the unique framework of how free markets benefit women."

- Ali Maranuk, Smith College 2008 and IWF Junior Fellow Summer 2007

"True to form, the Independent Women's Forum accords much independence to its Junior Fellows. The daily tasks are both instructive and highly substantive. Between the intimacy of the office and the breadth of IWF's policy work, the fellowship guarantees immersion in all aspects of a working think-tank, as well as in the intellectual culture of DC conservatism. One would be hard pressed to find another organization that has gained such esteem and still avoided pretension."

- Elise Viebeck, Claremont College 2010 and IWF Juniore Fellow Summer 2007
