Parents, you need to speak with your children and find out what is on the schedule in their classrooms the next couple of days. Unfortunately, the National Teach-In for Global Warming is on the agenda in many schools February 4-5, 2009. Although their map of participants currently shows mostly colleges and universities taking part, they encourage high schools and middle schools to participate, and many did last year. As parents, it is imperative that we do not allow a one-sided special interest lobby to commandeer our children’s education. If your child is being made to participate in this program, you should demand that their teacher present both sides of this scientific debate to their students, rather than frighten them with a global warming mis-education.
