It’s no surprise that a good number of Hollywood celebrities bat for the Democrats and progressive policies. But in this new video put out by MoveOn.org, it’s clear just how out of touch these silver screen starlets are with real American women:
While most women are not interested in playing gender politics, Eva Longoria, Scarlett Johansson, and Kerry Washington continue to advance the War on Women message and suggest that Gov. Romney and Republicans will be openly hostile to more than 50 percent of the electorate.
It’s interesting that while their grievances are focused around a woman’s reproductive tract, most women’s grievances are focused on our sputtering economy. While Longoria is talking about Planned Parenthood, most women are thinking about high unemployment numbers. While Johansson is talking about redefining rape, most women are thinking about bringing down energy costs.
These Hollywood divas read their lines beautifully, but next time they should give more thought to the content.
