President Trump has nominated veteran intelligence officer Gina Haspel to head the Central Intelligence Agency. Currently the Deputy Director, Ms. Haspel would be the first woman to serve in the top job.  Fierce opposition to Ms. Haspel's confirmation has erupted on the left, however.
