Last week, I spoke with Liz Mair, the founder of Mair Strategies, a political and communications firm in Washington, DC and the national spokeswoman for Vapers United–an advocacy group that opposes excessive regulation and taxation of the e-cigarette industry. Recently, the FDA announced that it may ban the sale of flavored vapor products. On the state and local level, governments are banning flavors and placing more and more onerous regulations on the e-cigarette industry, which has led to the closure of many vape shops.
