In USA Today'sweekend magazine, Cokie Roberts interviewed tennis legend Billie Jean King about the legacy of Title IX and women in sports. This question caught me off guard:
Why don't women attend sporting events like women's basketball games?
Because they don't get it. Here's how a guy looks at a ticket: "I'll buy a season ticket, and I'll worry about who we're going to give the tickets to later." Here's how a woman looks at them: She goes, "What days should we go, and how many free things can we get?" Women don't appreciate it -- they do not connect. They didn't grow up in the culture.
Really? So women are more or less incapable of deciding whether to go to a sporting event? That seems more than a little loopy, not to mention insulting and demeaning to women.

What did you expect of Ms King? She is a lesbian who I believe all hate women because they bring other women(and now Children) down into their sinful life.Of course she is gonna belittle women. She's jealous of normal family women who for the most part have no time to go to Sports games. But , if they wanted to they would like any man.

What culture is she talking about? I find it hard to believe that women ask "how many free things do we get?"
Yes, the question may be "what days should we go" only because if there are children then a school night is not a good option to attend a sporting event.
She should have avoided that question or simply think before she responded.
