Title: Policy Analyst
Reports to: Vice President for Policy and Economics
Job Summary: The Policy Analyst is responsible for conducting scholarly research and communicating the findings through policy papers, reports, opinion articles, and in public and media appearances. Under the supervision of the Vice President for Policy and Economics, the Policy Analyst takes a lead in specific policy areas and conducts unsupervised research. This position also works with other staff to enhance research and refine IWF's public policy positions.
Job Duties:
· Conducts policy analysis and scholarly research.
· Researches and writes high quality papers, reports and opinion articles.
· Participates at public functions and conferences.
· Organizes events and meetings.
· Engages in media activities including radio and television appearances.
· Participates in the public policy community.
Skill Factors:
Education: M.A. preferred. B.A. or B.S. required.
Experience: 3-5 years experience in public policy research and advocacy.

- Knowledge about a wide range of domestic policy issues
