Well if you consider forcing Americans held to high work and environmental standards to compete against communist workers and sometimes slave labor "FREE" trade then we have differences of the meaning of the word free.

When capitalism claims it's efficiency can be increased using communist workers you have to stop and ask yourself if you are making sense anymore. Are you really thinking about what the heck you are saying Mr. Carey?

So I guess Drew Carey has an explanation for the suffering national and world economies that doesn't involve global control by multinational corporations and "free trade"? I'd like to here it.

Bottom line free trade is demonstrably a way to concentrate wealth and power amongst fewer and fewer people and corporations while the whole world and most of it's citizens see their standard of living becoming more and more like the average workers in Mexico.

"Free trade" as it stands now is more about exploiting one worker against another and holds to none of principals David Ricardo described as necessary for comparative advantage to be beneficial.
