Greenwich Post: Republican women’s talk slated for tonight

The Greenwich Republican Women’s Forum is set to meet tonight, Oct. 10, to hear a presentation from Sabrina Schaeffer, executive director of the Independent Women’s Forum.

Ms. Schaeffer is set to speak about what she sees as the adverse effects of big government and “victim politics.” She is the author, with Carrie Lukas, ofLiberty Is No War Against Women: How Big Government and Victim-Politics Undermine America’s Process.

She has been a frequent commentator on Forbes, the Huffington Post, The Hill and FoxNews.com and has made frequent  guest appearances on MSNBC, CNN, PBS, and, including Saturday mornings on Forbes on Fox.

The forum is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 10 at Greenwich Town Hall in the Meeting Room. It will begin with a wine and cheese reception at 7:30 p.m., and the forum, which is free and open to the public, is set to last from 8 to 9 p.m.
