Independent Women’s Forum Announces 2016 Women LEAD Summit:
An Annual Conference to Inform and Engage Women

Learn – Encourage – Advance – Discuss

Thursday June 2, 2016
8:30am-5:30pm | Reception to follow

(WASHINGTON, DC)  Independent Women's Forum (IWF), the leading organization for center-right women focused on economic issues, today announced its agenda for its annual Women LEAD Summit taking place June 2 in Washington, DC.  The full-day conference offers a comprehensive program designed to inspire and engage women.   Speakers include conservative thought leaders, journalists, policy experts and academics, as well as other influencers who will lead passionate discussions on an array of issues facing women today.

Ahead of the summit, IWF released a new economic report, “Working for Women,” which presents a positive economic agenda for women and their families and offers alternative solutions to a suite of workplace concerns that will modernize policies without growing government.

In addition to detailing the reforms proposed in Working for Women, panelists as well as solo speakers will discuss the character of our political leadership, women voters and the 2016 election, the future of the Supreme Court, college campus culture, and explain why America’s alarmism epidemic is scaring the public silly.

“IWF has grown to be the thought leader on the right advancing limited government ideas for women.   And we’re thrilled to be able to be able to host an annual gathering where women who are committed to liberty and conservative values can have a better conversation about women and policy today,” explained IWF executive director Sabrina Schaeffer.

Women LEAD Summit offers an opportunity for women to learn, engage in conversations, make new contacts and network.  Additionally, the summit features a speed networking event hosted by the State Policy Network, and a live to tape show with NRA News Cam & Co.

“We are thrilled we can offer this thoughtful agenda and facilitate such an exciting day," added Schaeffer.
