PARTICIPANTS:
Carrie Lukas • President, Independent Women's Forum
Senator Joni Ernst • (R-IA)
Senator Mike Lee • (R-UT)
Caleb Orr • Economic policy for Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)

IWF has long focused on workplace issues – specifically the issue of paid leave. We recognize that it is a critical issue for many American families. IWF is proud to have published the first paper outlining an innovative approach to expanding access to paid leave benefits without growing government.  Unlike paid leave proposals before it, the Social Security Parental Benefits solution would allow all eligible workers in the United States to access paid leave benefits without raising taxes, imposing mandates on employers, or hurting workers’ economic opportunities.
