Supreme Court came down on the wrong side of liberty
Does SCOTUS ruling seal Obama's victory?
While the Supreme Court came down on the wrong side of liberty this morning, they sharpened the partisan divide and breathed new life into the November presidential election.
For many Americans - especially many Republicans - the ruling has created a new sense of urgency. Now more than ever voters realize that they must elect lawmakers that are genuinely committed to the full repeal of ObamaCare and replacing it with market-based reforms that will truly bring down costs, increase efficiency, and improve the quality of care for all Americans.
Today’s ruling renews the conversation about Supreme Court Justices and who both President Obama and Gov. Romney might appoint to the high court in the coming years - a much-needed discussion.
The reality is a new ABC/Washington Post poll released Wednesday finds that the majority of the public remains opposed to ObamaCare (52 percent), and 75 percent rated their own health care coverage favorably. President Obama may view today as a victory, but the American people will have the final word come November.
