While at IWF, Lukas has testified before the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Social Security. She has spoken at numerous college campuses and other venues, and written IWF publications such as “Dependency Divas: How the Feminist Big Government Agenda Betrays Women.”
Before joining IWF in 2003, Lukas worked on Capitol Hill, as the senior domestic policy analyst for the House Republican Policy Committee under the stewardship of Chairman Christopher Cox, and then as professional staff for the House Select Committee on Homeland Security of the U.S. House of Representatives. Lukas also has worked at the Cato Institute as a Social Security policy analyst.
Lukas holds a bachelor of arts from Princeton University and a master’s in public policy from Harvard University.
