In August, IWF conducted a briefing at the White House on policy issues affecting women’s health. A list of panelists and the topics they discussed follow:

  • Sally L. Satel, M.D., Lecturer at Yale University School of Medicine, Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, and author of PC, M.D. “Alternative Medicine: Government Support of Pseudoscience”
  • Scott Gottlieb, M.D., Medical Writer and Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute FDA Reform

    Following the panelists’ remarks, respected healthcare practitioners and Administration officials discussed a wide range of policy issues related to women’s health and identified potential steps toward achieving the best scientific practices and standards.
