Is it time to out another member of the Wilson-Plame family? Former Ambassador Joe Wilson, husband of the CIA operative said to have been unmasked by a White House insider (and who is so serious about her cover that she wouldn’t show her whole face when posing for Vanity Fair magazine), is identified in today’s WaPo as an unpaid foreign policy adviser for John Kerry.
He has stumped for Kerry in various places, including Iowa. The news comes fairly far down in an article on the investigation into the leaking of Valerie Plame’s CIA affiliation, so you might have missed it. No doubt, Wilson would say he only became involved in the Kerry campaign after becoming disillusioned with the Bush administration. I’d love to know more about this.
But I’m not calling for an investigation’yet.
