“Just a quick observation,” writes S.C. “The media hasn’t dwelt on Afghanistan very much in recent months. This was also a region that the mainstream media promised would provide another Vietnam. Where is their scrutiny now? Could it be that they are lax to report on something that could give any indication of success in our military endeavors? It would be nice to see some good news for a change, but I won’t hold my breath.”

Don’t even think of it, S.C. We want to keep you as a reader.
