Yes, there’s still a gender gap, but the latest posted Washington Post election poll (from Oct. 21) shows Bush leading Kerry among women by four percentage points. Bush gets 50 percent of the votes from our sex, contrasting to Kerry’s mere 46 percent. Men lean even heavier toward Bush: 53 percent to 44 percent. Among the electorate as a whole, Bush leads 51 percent to 45 percent, the Post reports.
So there may be something to the “security moms” phenomenon after all, no?
