Inspired by Walter Cronkite’s semi-demented babbling that Karl Rove must be behind the latest Osama bin Laden video, Inkwell yesterday announced plans for a Karl Rove Did It! Round-Up and invited readers to send us examples of strange and/or nefarious things attributed to Mr. Rove.
An Inkwell reader from Texas has sent our first entry:
“KARL ROVE DID IT! A friend of mine blames Karl Rove for the 11 states voting to ban gay marriage. She claims that Rove saw an opportunity and made certain that gay marriage would be on the ballot in those states, and then promoted it to make sure fundamentalists would get out and vote. She said she doesn’t think that it was coincidence that those initiatives were on the ballot in key battleground states.”
