Yesterday I posted on Pamela R. Winnick’s Weekly Standard article about error-ridden politically correct science textbooks that leave out Albert Einstein because he’s a dead white male and devote more space to Algonquin creation myths than to accurate explanations of such phenomena as gravity and climate change. (See Your Kid’s Never Heard of Einstein? Multiculturalists, Not Fundamentalists, Are to Blame, May 10.)
Reader J.K. comments:
“This type of thing is why I have choosen to home-school my children. This article almost make me happy, now there is even one less ‘thing’ that can be held against home-schooling. The supposed lack of science in the curriculum.”
Yes, home-schooled kids don’t have to learn that it’s the crow that brings the rain.
