I’ve been reading our own Carrie Lukas’s “The Politically Incorrect Guide to Women, Sex, and Feminism.”–and it’s a fantastic guide to….reality. The reality, that is of what it’s like for most women in the working world (secretary and admin are the job titles that most women in the workforce hold), how much fun casual sex can be (if you’re a guy, that is), and the nuts and bolts of feminist-pushed institutional daycare (which most working mothers avoid like the plague if they can).

“We’ve been duped,” writes Carrie, a Princeton and Harvard Kennedy School of Government grad, a loving mom, and our vice president for policy and economics here at the IFW. “The Politically Guide” will un-dupe you fast. I especially like Carrie’s “Books You’re Not Supposed to Read,” such as Wendy Shalit’s “A Return to Modesty: Discovering the Lost Virtue” and Diane Medved’s “Case Against Divorce.”
