Everyone’s heard of Hooters.  It’s the restaurant that guys insist they frequent because “the wings are amazing” (a line that, I’m confident, has never actually fooled a woman).  Well, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is upset with Hooters for not hiring male waitresses.  John Stossel reports:

“Typically, companies assaulted by EEOC lawyers just pay up to avoid ruinous legal fees, but Hooters fought back, cleverly, not just in court, but in the court of public opinion. Hooters waitresses marched on Washington, chanting, “Save our jobs.” A burly Hooters manager dressed as a Hooters waitress posed for cameras, beard and all, demonstrating what a “Hooters Guy” might look like.”

I’d try to say something profound, but I’m too busy laughing (once the image of a burly “Hooters Guy” pops into your head, it’s hard to shake).  Read the whole story here.
