Most of the time when feminists complain about the so-called “wage gap,” they ignore the many differences between the jobs men and women perform.  Factors like the number of years worked, hours worked in a day, and occupation typically aren’t taken into account when feminists drum up statistics for equal pay day.


But I’m ready to join the chorus by asking Wimbleton to start paying men and women equally.  As this article in the Times of London describes, women’s tennis matches today draw bigger television audiences and are just as exciting and hard fought as men’s matches.   There seems no legitimate reason for the female players to earn less than the men.
