The Washington Times features a spotlight on the Network of Enlightened Women (NeW) this morning. NeW held its first national conference on Friday, awarding Danielle Sturgis (a great student activist from Iowa) with its Enlightened Woman of the Year award. IWF junior fellow Sara Gordon attended the conference and reports that the conference ‘was an excellent opportunity to meet with other young, conservative female activists in Washington and talk about what is going on on our campuses. The organization seems to be growing by leaps and bounds and there are now NeW chapters from coast to coast.’
