This Valentine’s Day, the Network of Enlightened Women (NeW) chapter at Arizona State University will be busy raising money for a good cause. Instead of selling vagina-shaped lollipops or “I Love Vagina” t-shirts like many radical feminists do this time of year, NeW will be selling a more traditional Valentine’s Day staple-flowers.
ASU NeW president Annemarie Smith explains, “NeW is selling flowers in order to protect and preserve the dignity, devotion, and depth of true love. The Network of Enlightened Women will donate all the proceeds from the flower sales to Maggie’s Place – a local pregnant women’s shelter. We are very excited about promoting and protecting Valentine’s Day!”
