I just watched the press conference for the Duke case. North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper had an amazing statement. He could have easily gotten up there and just said that there was not enough evidence to move forward with the case and that the charges were dropped. Instead he said that the young men were innocent and he had incredibly strong words for D.A. Mike Nifong.
Kudos to Cooper. That statement is akin to complete vindication for the three former defendants.
