It’s too bad (in my opinion) that the new attorney general has launched an investigation of the destroyed CIA interrogation tapes. I think it was right to destroy the tapes because I want CIA operatives to have freedom from prosecution when questioning people who want to destroy us. It’s a nasty world out there. I argued for the destruction of the tapes with Rosa Brooks, an L.A. Times columnist, recently on Bloggingheads. What do you think?
