Previously I posted to the Inkwell blog about an organization in the UK called Plane Stupid, founded to fight planned expansions at various airports and funded by Mark Constantine, owner of an organic cosmetics line. The protest at Stansted Airport ground traffic to a halt for several hours, and they same can be expected if the protesters are successful at disrupting Heathrow, a much larger and busier airport, in the new year. Mr. Constantine is obviously proud of his monetary support of Plane Stupid and the “work” they are doing and, frankly, should be held accountable for the disruption caused to many travelers.
