GE, the company always telling us how we can do our part to save the environment has a bad case of the “do as I say, not as I do’s.” Apparently their commitment to going “green” does not extend past the borders of the United States, as they have agreed to a $3 billion deal with the Iraqi government to provide gas powered electricity turbines to double the country’s electricity generating ability.
I am sure this is a great deal for both parties, GE is benefiting from this deal to the tune of $3 billion and Iraq is getting much needed electricity. However, it is just another example of Envirocrats telling us how to live our life, but the same rules don’t apply to them. Could it be because they do not believe global warming is as dire and imminent as they claim it to be?
