I ran across a great article today entitled, “A Troubling Trend in Global Warming Denial on the Internet.” The author, Kevin Grandia, compares Google results from one year ago and today on phrases like “global warming skeptic” and “global warming alarmist” and found that there are significantly more hits for those phrases today than there were only a year ago. Of course, his concern is that people are being misinformed by what they are reading on the internet, because they are beginning to raise questions and not fall for the alarmist dogma that he subscribes to. I find the information very positive, however! The fact remains that so-called man made global warming remains a debatable theory and it is inspiring that individuals are beginning to question the one-sided argument they receive from mainstream media and Hollywood celebrities.
