Sadly, Mary Lou Forbes, who had been an editor at the Washington Times for decades and was something of a conservative institution, passed away today. Mary Lou was a true trailblazer: She won a Pulitzer Prize in 1959. At the Washington Times, she helped get conservative opinions into the public domain.
