Know an up-and-coming young conservative leader? You have until Friday to nominate them for a Buckley award, to be given at CPAC this year! Ten awards – named for William F. Buckley Jr., a conservative movement leader/icon who founded National Review and wrote God and Man at Yale before the age of 30 – will be given out in the following categories:
- Leading and/or organizing a significant grassroots and/or media initiative
- Contributing meaningfully to an influential election (on staff or volunteer)
- Utilizing new techniques and/or technologies to advance the conservative cause
- Displaying courage under fire
This is a new initiative created by the Young Conservatives Coalition (disclaimer: I am their new events director). Nomination forms can be found here, and are due by January 15, 2010.
