Look at the two girls in this picture. Doesn’t this picture convey a sense of buoyant optimism, two kids with their lives about to unfold before them? Except that these young women were murdered. Their crime: wanting to date non-Muslim boys. The suspect: their father.
IWF has long urged American feminists to become more vocal about the plight of women who really are oppressed (some all the way to death). These girls were killed in Florida, not a foreign country. We should all be angry and concerned.
