I’ll write more about this later but I just want to put up a note about this brand spanking new feeding program courtesy of the U.S. government (and your tax dollars).

U.S. Department of Agriculture Undersecretary Kevin Concannon just announced a new child feeding program designed to provide 140,000 to 150,000 children from low income families with dinner.  This program is authorized by Michelle Obama’s school nutrition bill which passed late last year.  Meals will be served in schools, boys and girls clubs and community centers.

So, just to be clear, kids can now receive breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner from the government.  Why again do we need parents?
