The President is promising to start improving the healthcare bill by “correcting a flaw in the legislation that has placed an unnecessary bookkeeping burden on small businesses.” That’s a good thing, of course, to eliminate the onerous new 1099 provision, but it seems a little ridiculous to pretend that this was some how a mistake. Who is responsible for this legislation anyway?
