Quote of the Day (so far):
“I’m just not ready to have my wealth redistributed. I’m not ready to pay more tax money than the next guy because I provide jobs and because I work a 60-hour week and I earn more than $250,000 a year.”
That’s from Jerry Della Femina, legendary Hamptons restaurateur and ad man (he is regarded as the inspiration for TV’s “Mad Men” series). He has told the New York Post that the U.S. is “headed for disaster” and that he’s going into gold and silver.
You may enjoy the trail of comments on National Review. But I can think of nothing to add to Mr. Della Femina’s remarks except this: here is Obamanonics in a nutshell.
