This morning, the Wall Street Journal reports they’re coming for Ronald McDonald!


A group called Corporate Accountability International is asking McDonalds to retire the clown because he encourages kids to eat junk food.


Oh for goodness sake.  Just where is it that kids see the clown?  On television!  I have a great idea, if you want to reduce the number of times your kids are exposed to the clown; turn off the television.  There, it’s done. No regulations required, no voluntary standards need be drafted.


And the healthy eaters over at Corporate Accountability International might want to know that less television watching is linked to healthier kids.  It appears less t.v. works better than harassing clowns.
