Women Rebut “War on Women”
Book Launch and All-Star Panel Discussion

WASHINGTON, D.C., – On Thursday, September 20th, the Independent Women’s Forum will host “Liberty is No War on Women,” an official book launch and all-star panel discussion that takes a substantive look at and rebuts the “War on Women” narrative.

What’s behind the rhetoric?  Why now?  And are Sandra Fluke and “Julia” really representative of women voters?  Do women really want to depend on Uncle Sam for cradle-to-grave care?

The all-star panel discusses what issues really matter to women and refute liberals’ attempt to demonize anyone who questions government overreach.

The term ‘War on Women’ has become a pillar to the Left’s party platform in the 2012 campaign pitting supporters of limited government against women.  In Liberty is No War on Women: How Big Government and Victim-Politics Undermine America’s Progress, a publication of the Independent Women’s Forum, co-authors, Carrie Lukas and Sabrina Schaeffer, take this charge apart – debunking the idea that there is a GOP “War on Women.”
