Despite a month of glitches at Healthcare.gov and hundreds of thousands of Americans being told they're their health insurance policy is being canceled, one policy analyst says the country has yet to see the full impact of ObamaCare.
Hadley Heath of the Independent Women's Forum says the "extreme trickiness" of ObamaCare is the way the burden was put together in terms of the timeline.
"There are over 20 new taxes in the healthcare law," she begins. "There are changes to individual insurance, changes to employer-sponsored insurance – and the White House and other crafters of this particular law have done everything they can to ease the transition into what is a very burdensome law, very burdensome program for taxpayers as well as for customers."
The analyst adds that it's very hard to get a gauge on the full impact of the healthcare law, because in order to do that one has to measure public and private spending, changes to quality of healthcare, and the quality of insurance, among other things.
"So it's very hard to keep track of that impact, and something that we can't say is Now we see it because we'll never reach the end of ObamaCare's costs," she warns.
Meanwhile, President Obama tweaked his promise this week that 'If you like your plan you can keep it.' Speaking Monday night in Washington, he said: "What we said was you can keep it if it hasn't changed since the law passed."
Heath tells OneNewsNow that it seems as the though the president is either backtracking or admitting that he hasn't kept his promise.
