Congressman Price introduced House bill H.R. 2300, Empowering Patients First, which offers a market alternative to Obamacare. Dr. Price was first elected to represent Georgia’s 6th district in November 2004. For nearly 20 years, Rep. Price worked in private practice as an orthopedic surgeon. Before coming to Washington, he returned to Emory University School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor and Medical Director of the Orthopedic Clinic at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, teaching resident doctors in training.

Delegate Mark Berg, M.D.
Dr. Berg was elected as Delegate for Virginia’s 29th District last November. He practiced as an Emergency Department physician for 13 years and as a primary care physician for 10 years. Dr. Berg retired in 2008 and has been politically active since then, concentrating on healthcare issues.

In 2006 he foundedPhysicians for Reform, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving patient-centered healthcare. Now in its second printing, Gray’s book, The Battle for America’s Soul, resulted from a decade spent in research and analysis of the history and philosophy of medical ethics.

Grace-Marie Turner, Galen Institute
Grace-Marie Turner is president of the Galen Institute, a public policy research organization that she founded in 1995 to promote an informed debate over free-market ideas for health reform that transfer power over healthcare decisions to doctors and patients.  She testifies regularly before Congress and advises senior government officials, governors, and state legislators on health policy. Turner, co-author of Why ObamaCare Is Wrong for America, has been featured nationally on radio and television and published in major newspapers across America.
