We agree with Mona Charen that the Network of Enlightened Women is one of the “green shoots sprouting on college campuses.” Founded by Karin Agness, while she was an undergraduate at the University of Virginia, NeW provides a conservative alternative on campus for young women.

NeW is holding its annual gathering next week ( June 19-21)  in Washington, D.C., and the roster of speakers includes such redoubtable women as  Diana Furchtgott-Roth (Manhattan Institute), Lou Ann Sabatier (Media DC), Penny Nance (Concerned Women for America), Heather Pfitzenmaier (The Heritage Foundation), April Ponurru (YG Network), and IWF’s  own Sabrina Schaeffer.

The event, which is free, includes leadership training and a keynote address by New York Times bestselling author and a Co-host of Outnumbered on Fox News Katie Pavlich, who is also news editor for Townhall.com. Check out the schedule and register here.
