PRESS CALL ADVISORY

EXPERTS TO DISCUSS ROLE OF GOVERNMENT IN EDUCATION AND WOMEN’S UNIQUE INTEREST IN IMPROVING EDUCATION POLICY

(Washington, D.C.) – On Thursday, July 31st, at 10:30 a.m. ET, the Independent Women’s Forum (IWF) will host a press call to mark Friedman Legacy Day, what would have been the late economist’s 102nd birthday, and discuss the role of government in education and how educational freedom benefits women.

Participants will detail why women – as students, mothers, and as the majority of the nation’s teachers – have a unique interest in improving our education system, how women are helped tremendously by education liberalization, and why educational freedom – not more government policy “solutions” – will encourage more innovation and greater options for women and for society overall.

Participants will take questions at the end of the call.
