Dr. Claudette Lajam, an orthopedic surgeon at NYU Langone, is on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic in New York.
After successfully recovering from COVID-19 herself, Dr. Lajam is now back at work volunteering in the medical ward to help her colleagues treat COVID-positive patients. She’s a true hero, which is why we’re honoring Dr. Lajam in our #InThisTogether Heroes video series, where we’re highlighting everyday Americans who are bravely battling COVID-19 on the frontlines.
In part two of her story, Dr. Lajam shares inspiring stories from inside the hospital of how doctors, nurses, security guards, receptionists, and so many others are working together during this crisis. We are truly all #InThisTogether.
Watch the video to hear her unscripted, unedited account of what it’s like battling the COVID-19 crisis, and help us honor Dr. Lajam by sharing her inspirational story.
