IWF is delighted to welcome Sarah Erickson to our team. Sarah recently joined IWF as a Visiting Fellow and works to advance policies that encourage technological innovation and protect the free flow of information. She is also a graduate student at George Mason University where she is working on a Master’s degree in International Security.

Sarah will work closely with Senior Policy Analyst Patrice Lee Onwuka and will cover technology and cybersecurity issues. Sarah’s latest piece for IWF focuses on what tech policy needs from the new administration:

Meet Ms. Erickson below:

Sarah Erickson is a visiting fellow at the Independent Women’s Forum. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in International Security at George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government. As a graduate student, Sarah is focused on issues regarding technology and cyberwarfare. She has previously worked as a research intern at the Heritage Foundation, the United States Senate, and the United Kingdom House of Commons. Sarah earned a B.A. in Politics with a certificate in Intelligence Studies from The Catholic University of America. Currently, she resides in Arlington, VA with her cat, Regina.
