IWF is happy to welcome our new visiting fellow, Colleen Hroncich, to the team. Colleen is a senior policy analyst at the Commonwealth Foundation and is a passionate advocate for school choice.
As a mother of four, Colleen has utilized school choice in deciding the best education environments for her children and will be a strong addition to our education team.
Meet Colleen below:

Colleen Hroncich is a senior policy analyst at the Commonwealth Foundation, Pennsylvania’s free-market think tank. After graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in economics, she interned at the American Enterprise Institute. She later worked as a research analyst in the energy division at ICF Consulting and then joined the Allegheny Institute for Public Policy as a research associate.
A mother of four—whose children have experienced public, private, cyber, and home education—Colleen utilized school choice long before she began working to advance it. She and her husband and children live in Grove City, which they chose for its vibrant homeschooling community.
Welcome to the IWF team, Colleen!
