IWF is excited to welcome Emily Jashinsky as a visiting fellow.

Emily is the culture editor of The Federalist, where she provides and curates thoughtful and current takes on Hollywood, television, and pop culture. She is also an astute observer of our culture as a whole, noting its role in our political debates and how it interacts with corporate America, particularly big tech.

Emily frequently appears as a guest on Fox News and Fox Business, as well as the popular independent program Hill TV’s Rising. Her written work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, New York Post, and Real Clear Politics, in addition to her role at The Federalist, which also includes frequently hosting the outlet’s podcast.

Emily is a frequent guest and voice of reason at universities across the country, a role she has formalized as the part-time Director of the National Journalism Center, a project of Young America’s Foundation. NJC provides training and job placement opportunities to the next generation of journalists, combating bias and cultivating essential skills now too-often ignored by the corporate media.

Although a graduate of Washington D.C.’s George Washington University, Emily is a native of the great state of Wisconsin.

We’re delighted that Emily Jashinsky will be adding her talents to the Independent Women’s Forum team for the coming months as a visiting fellow.

Welcome Emily!
