Independent Women’s Forum is pleased to welcome Jean Morrow to our team as a visiting fellow. Starting in August 2021, Jean will be the Manager of Public Affairs and Policy at the Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools to advocate for choice, quality, and accountability in public education. At IWF her work will focus on elevating patient-centered healthcare, including empowering patient choice and improving quality and outcomes.

Meet Jean below.

Jean has previously served as a political appointee at the United States Department of Education serving as STEM lead; as a Policy Advisor in the Department’s Office of Planning, Evaluation and Policy Development; as an advisor to senior White House, Department, and federal leadership.

Before this she worked as a health policy researcher at The Heritage Foundation where she promoted patient-centered health care. Her portfolio included research and analysis on various health topics to put patients in control of their healthcare. Prior to Heritage, Jean was a high-dollar fundraiser at the Institute for Justice to support education freedom, economic liberty, property rights, and free speech.

Originally from Maine, Jean is a two-time graduate of the University of Florida, earning both her bachelor and master’s degrees with a focus in public policy, law, and education. She has dedicated herself to bettering the lives of others and making a difference in this one life she’s been given. To honor her father and late mother and their legacy of service, Jean founded in 2021 the Morrow Family Scholarship to assist a high school graduate pursue post-secondary aims.
