WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Independent Women’s Forum’s (IWF) Education Freedom Center will host former Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos for her first Washington, D.C. launch event to celebrate the release of her new book, Hostages No More: The Fight for Education Freedom and the Future of the American Child. The book launch event will take place at 4:00 p.m. at the Florida House in Washington, D.C. (1 2nd Street NW).
“Betsy DeVos is a fierce champion of education freedom and a tireless advocate for prioritizing students and families rather than the broken K-12 education system,” said IWF Education Freedom Center Director Ginny Gentles. “We are thrilled to host a celebration of her new book and eager to discuss her decades of experience fighting for families in both state capitals and Washington, D.C.”
