WASHINGTON, D.C. — Independent Women’s Forum (IWF) — the leading policy organization for women — will hold its 2023 Annual Awards Gala on Wednesday, October 25 at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington, D.C. This year marks IWF’s 18th Annual Awards Gala.

Since its founding in 1992, IWF has emerged as the nation’s top women’s organization dedicated to developing and advancing policies that aren’t just well intended, but actually enhance people’s freedom, opportunities, and well-being. The organization is the must-have participant in effective coalitions, the regular resource for innovative policy solutions, the go-to resource for legislative testimony, the essential voice for mainstream American women in the media, with multiple policy centers, a law center, and a grassroots network of women advocates nationwide. IWF’s work is leveraged by its c4 sister organization, Independent Women’s Voice, to impact legislative and regulatory outcomes.

At this year’s gala, IWF will honor Miranda Devine, New York Post and Fox News contributor; Lynn Friess, philanthropist, author, mother, and grandmother; Chaya Raichik, Libs of TikTok creator; and Enes Kanter Freedom, NBA star and human rights activist.

The gala program also includes 12x All-American swimmer turned IWF Ambassador and women’s advocate Riley Gaines, host of WMAL O’Connor and Company Larry O’Connor, and country singer Alexis Wilkins, among others.

IWF’s Annual Awards Gala is one of the most sought after events in Washington, D.C. The event brings together influential leaders from all avenues — from U.S. members of Congress to business executives to thought leaders to brave Americans breaking their silence to show the real harms of radical agendas like detransitioner Prisha Mosley, female athletes Paula Scanlan and Roanoke College Swim captains and former Collegiate Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach Kim Russell — to recognize and celebrate true champions who are dedicated defenders of freedom and opportunity.
