Today, Independent Women’s Forum joins the “Take Back Title IX” roundtable, hosted by U.S. Senators on Capitol Hill. The discussion, led by U.S. Senator “Coach” Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) and moderated by former ESPN broadcaster Sage Steele, focuses on fairness in women’s sports and the importance of single-sex athletic competition. Participants include:

  • Jennifer C. Braceras, vice president for legal affairs at Independent Women’s Forum and founder of Independent Women’s Law Center (IWLC)
  • Paula Scanlan, IWF ambassador and former University of Pennsylvania swimmer
  • Coach Kim Russell, IWF ambassador and former Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Oberlin College
  • Cady Mullens, mother of Lily Mullens
    Lily is an NCAA athlete and captain of the Roanoke College women’s swim team. She spoke out against a male joining their team after swimming on the men’s team the year prior.
