Instead of working to close achievement gaps, many schools justify racial disparities by blaming ‘systemic racism’ and teaching minority students that the deck is stacked against them. 

Rather than promoting optimism and resilience, many schools teach minority students that they are victims of an oppressive system, instilling feelings of helplessness.

This is no way to help students succeed.

It’s time to reject Critical Race Theory and rededicate ourselves to the principle of E Pluribus Unum: Out of Many, One.
